"Though he may be relentless and ruthless, he is also full of majesty." Karna is a hero from the Indian epic Mahabhrata, the arch-rival to the main hero Arjuna. In Fate/, he is a Lancer-class Servant, and he is also known as the Lancer of Red, the Hero of Charity, and the Saint of Benefaction. Abandoned since he was a baby by his mother the queen, he wasn't raised as royalty but instead one of the lower social classes. Despite that, he is known as the son of the Sun God, Surya, and his golden armour reflected his demigod status. Persistent and relentlessly honest, Karna is perceived as cold and haughty most of the time, if not somewhat dull, but he has a loyal heart and a kindly disposition towards those who needed it the most. As the favoured son of Surya, he is said to personify the brilliance of the sun, not its warmth, which was charming and flawed.
